Space (in Eric's head) the final frontier

So ... I started ... sorta ... I was going to open with Wilderness Of Smiles ...but I couldnt get the capo set right and I kept sounding out of tune ... I will admit to being a little out of it after a long day with the kids ... so I gave up and started with Low Self Esteem Talking Blues ... the audience was into it ... scary ... after that I played a pretty safe set ... went into Trophy Wife ... there was this very cute young thing sitting right in front of me ... Very Olivia de Havilland ... when I got to the line about "I hope I'm not too fat and old to do it on the floor" she had this wonderful look that was part revulsion ... shock ... and amusement ... it's nice when the songs work ...

I did a pretty messy version of Product Might Be Hot and closed with Bang My Bald Spot ... the first two songs connected with the audience really well ... the latter two not as well ... but it was a much better set then I expected it to be ...
