At this point, i think Marscon has the best ongoing music scene of any con i've been to. I decided i need to get involved with the concom just to help this great thing survive and thrive and grow. Keep the great dementia artists coming, encourage the folk and filk circles, make sure the mainstage is set up well for concerts, and see what else can be done.
For many (many (many (many))) years, Icon has felt like my "home" con. But after this weekend, Marscon is starting to feel that way instead. And unlike Icon, i feel i can help out in a substantial way, which is nice.
