I went to Boheme tonight ... this after Pythonacon and 600+ miles of driving through the weekend and little sleep and too damn much playing the drums. I'm a little out of it.

Standards - the extended dance mix version. I got lost going into the 3rd verse. I eventually found my way back to it. It took me a bit though. I did the bit with trying to find the harmonic at the end of the 2nd verse ... it made me laugh, the audience not so much.
In Crosby Park - which seemed to be the best received of the three songs, that seems to be the norm for middle songs at Boheme lately.
Bang My Bald Spot - Very low key. Once again, it made me laugh, the rest of the folks there, not so much. They applauded quite a bit though

Oh, and the audience at Boheme makes me feel old. Or like a lech ... maybe both. I'm a bad person. It's filled with the sort of young women who, if I was a 100 years younger, I would be very upset that they wouldn't want to go out with me ...

My weekend? My house was invaded by about a thousand crazy people, old folks wailing loud rock and roll at all hours, wild unkempt children racing through the house all day and night, dogs frothing at the mouth, cats shrieking...

In other words it was a fantastic weekend and I can't wait till next year. :-)

excellent - got to go to champaign and spend time with David and Erin and Rowan (just turned 4 this weekend) and little bitty liam. I got some great pictures and gaming on sunday wasn't half bad.
