The Highway 61 Folks Festival is this weekend.

As always I can't recommend this more highly. It is the best day of songwriting I hear all year. It's a lovely place. There is free camping (albeit a little rough, but it is still in town), free music, good folks, good food and as I have already said GREAT MUSIC.

There are bands both friday and saturday night, including my friend the amazing Charlie Parr.

This is something that I would love to be able to share with my friends. So many of you would love this.

*sigh* would so love to :( even have a tent in my trunk right now :)

Doubt if Sunni-car could make it tho, and budget is having a hard time with gas money to get to work :(

Is there an admission charge to the festival? Can't seem to find any reference on the wbbsite.

Free music ... it's all free (except the food and the drink)
