Planning ahead

I will not be going to OVFF this year. Drake Theatre is having a reunion that weekend ... of course it would be that weekend.

It is still possible I will be going to FKO, but I'm thinking money will not allow it.

So it looks like no filk cons this year.

I'd love to have you at Gafilk in January, if I'm not going to see you at OVFF. (I realize this is self-serving as well, but shame isn't something a conchair is afforded a large budget for.)

It's a long ways away. If the money is there this summer for a plane ticket, then I'll book that and plan on being there. But I am not driving all that way in January.

Okay. I'm gonna have to talk to them about it at MarsCon then because this is something I really need to do this year, for my own development as a musician, even though it's scary, and it would help to go down there with a group if possible.
