Warehouse 13

is anyone else watching this?

I've watched the first two episodes so far (ep3 is tonight) and so far I love it.

It makes me think of that episode of the X-Files that they would do every so often that would be very funny, but in a fairly dark sort of way. Except it's been every episode.

edit Expect that there may be spoilers in the comments.

I'm giving it a chance. I missed the boat on the last several Skiffy Network series so I'm trying to start with a new one and see if it lasts.

Yah. I bet Indy Jones has been through there once or twice. Also, I keep calling their video-phone an "interociter" but you know I'm Old School. ;-)

I would not be at all surprised if the scientists who built the thing in THIS ISLAND EARTH made some improvements after the events of the book/film. They were just heading into the age on miniaturization after all. Transistor radios, etc. So shrinking down an existing tech to a hand-held model is completely consistent.

I think about this stuff too, too much.

See comments below, but yeah, so far Artie is the main draw for me.

I caught the series premiere on my flight to Orlando for Nerdapalooza. I really enjoyed it, although it did strike me as very X-Files-ish, The Chronicle-ish, and Friday The 13th The Series-ish. Not that that's a bad thing, but this isn't exactly an original premise for a show. Hopefully they do something good with it and it doesn't just become another copycat show.

Thanks for reminding me it's on tonight. I completely forgot.

I just caught the premier on Hulu. Very nice. I am thinking of it as all those shows with really good effects.

I like that show very much.

What I really wanna do is grub around in the Warehouse for fun toys and cool tech.

I caught the series premier. Thinking that nothing cancells wrestling at 10pm, I only recored for 1 hour. Grrr. Then caught the last 40 minutes in the 11pm repeat. Then caught the missing parts on Friday night.

It repeats later Tuesday night if you got a recording conflict. Also on Friday at 8m before new Eureka. New Eureka also repeats the next Tuesday at 8pm
(All times Eastern)

Do a Google search on 'steampunk keyboard' and you will probably find instructions for making one. With the steampunk tech I think it will get an audience.
Now we will see 13 additional items going into the Warehouse in addition to the eleventeenthousand there already during this summer season.

Warehouse 13 is pretty awesome. I love the old tech feel. Reminds me of what you said, plus the librarian.

Ian and I both love the show. He said it's just like a GURPS manual he has called Warehouse 23. I never read it, so I'll take his word on it. But excellent show!

Okay, you've talked me into it. I'll watch the pilot tonight, I think.

I'm definitely enjoying it, too. I've wanted to tweak things here and there, but overall, it's fun to watch.

I really enjoyed it. Since the amount of TV I've watched in the past 3 years can be summed up by staring at clock for few minutes... watching all of Episode #2 and enjoying it say's something....

We started watching it and have been having a blast...and yes, it's like X-Files only funny and all the time funny instead of sporadically. :)
