One of the advantages to renting

I keep my house cold. I sleep better in the cold, I feel better in the cold. I spend extra in the summer on AC, and less in the winter, cause I turn the heat DOWN.

The WSPA does not agree with this. So, since I woke up this morning to my open window and open bedroom door, and realized that the rest of the house was cold, I decided to run the heat today, just to get the dust out.

Click one last time, just to verify that the furnace is not working. I actually think it's the switch. But, I called my landlord, so hopefully it will get fixed today, just so the WSPA doesn't yell at me this weekend.

Ahh LOL. Oops. Yeah they might have issue with no heat. Chuckles. :) Good luck. I am learnign to live with it being cooler in the house for financial reasons. But I've read studies where it really is better for you to sleep with it cooler in the house. We tend to as a whole have it be a lot warmer than it should be.

i still haven't needed to turn my heat on.

it worked a couple days ago, so i'm not concerned about it. also, i've needed to run the fans and keep the windows open because it's really just too warm in my apartment.

If it's a digital thermostat, check the batteries. A battery failure will respond the same way you describe yours.
