It is a puzzlement

Throughout my life, if someone was going to get my name wrong, they called me Chris. This has happened repeatedly since I was a kid.

It hadn't happened for a few years. A couple weeks ago I was getting a breakfast sandwich from Panera's, and they guy tried to remember my name and called me Chris.

I bust out laughing, he looked confused so I explained. The story has been repeated to several people there and now at that store I am "NotChris" when they call my name when my food is done.

I am "Jennifer" to more people than I care to think about. Look folks, just because I was born between 1974 and 1986 and my name starts with a "J" does not mean I'm a Jennifer.

But I have a friend named Ben who has it worse. He always seems to get called "Matt" by people...

...who have never met (or even know of) his identical twin brother, who happens to be named Matt...
