You left off "Love Happy."

[identity profile] shsilver.livejournal.com 2008-07-06 03:50 am (UTC)(link)
I need a point? What if I wanted to vote for "Love Happy," assuming the question was to vote for the suckiest Marx Brothers' movie? Or, for that matter, if I wanted to vote for "Humor Risk" as the only Marx Brothers' film I haven't seen? Or "The History of Mankind" as the Marx Brothers' film that isn't really a Marx Brothers' film.

I want choices, dammit!

Then I'm going to change my vote to answer the question, "From which Marx Brother did Steven learn to crack eggs?"

I still laugh my ass off at A Night At The Opera.

Perhaps it's because it's the only one I've actually seen in a theater with a live audience or perhaps it's because 75 years later IT'S STILL ONE OF THE FUNNIEST MOVIES EVER MADE but I had to cast my vote for Duck Soup.

And yes, I have them all on DVD. But Duck Soup, as the kids these days say, is THE BOMB!

Why, Coconuts, of course. Any movie that has Mrs. Rittenhouse in it is OK by me.

Ack, that's not Coconuts, it's Animal Crackers. I'm getting punchy from being up this long.

Gotta go with the one I saw first...

I estimate my age at first viewing to be about 5... maybe 6.

And it STILL cracks me up.

It was Duck, Opera, or Crackers, and ultimately, I went for the Opera.

I went with A Day At The Races because it's my favorite Queen album.

Animal Crackers was my first. It's a gateway movie. :)

i love 'em all, but my favorite line comes from my fave film MONKEY BUSINESS:

Purser: Captain, there are 4 stowaways on board.
Captain: How do you know there are 4?
Purser: They're singing "Sweet Adeline".
