Just wondering ...

I have been going through my collection of movies, and I was wondering which I like best. I think I can narrow it down to two, but I'm interested in what all of you think. So when it comes to Star Trek ...

I have to admit I have not seen all of the later ones.
I saw Wrath of Kahn in the theater and it caught fire. None of us wanted to leave even though the theater was full of smoke. The manager had to come in and tell us to get out. I was about 11.

Nemesis = The Wrath of Khan - The Next Generation. Heck, they even use the same theme song!

(I'll you you post the other parallels)

i voted for khan, because it is my favorite, but i also _really_ enjoyed generations. it's actually probably a tie between these two as to my true favorite.

and i liked the one with the borg. i liked that one too. (edit: i believe it may have been nemesis.) although i didn't like the ending, i think. it's been a while since i've seen this movie.

Why do the results not surprise me in the least.

I was torn; anything where Kirk dies is OK in my book.

Other end of the spectrum? Gotta be the one where Kirk falls off a mountain, hits his head, and HALLUCINATES THE ENTIRE MOVIE(V). It's the only way I can accept it as canon.

It was a tough call between WOK and FC. A different day, the coin would have flipped the other way.

Both very good stories, and both were movies that meant a lot to me the first time I saw them.

First contact because they get into how damaged Picard really was from the assimilation. Otherwise, 3/4 because of the light hearted way they were performed. 5 was just odd, but had great music. 6 was terrific, 7, well Capitan on the bridge, no, wait, bridge on the Capitan!
At least there was no Jar-Jar.

Voyage Home was a lot of fun while staying in character. My close second choice is First Contact. Love Picard, and getting deeper into the characters.

TFF did not exist.
