A question

What happens when the drums stop ???

As long as your heart is still beating, the drums never stop.

I've got a bass solo on our upcoming album. They never fail!

Cliff Burton or Matt Freeman?

Nice bass, shame about the....Poor Jaco.
A god, but a troubled man.

Also a god, but of the foil-wrapped variety. (Useful at airports.)

Ah, that explains the fishy smell.

Nertz. I thought this was just philosophical.

You have to be (or have known, probably intimately) a musician.

What do you call someone who hangs out with musicians?

How can you tell when the drum-riser's level?

How many guitarists does it take to change a lightbulb?

etc. etc.

You beat me to it.

In the jungle

You mean, you're camped out in the wilderness, and all weekend you hear drums as the natives go about their lawful activities? And then -- the drums stop?

I assume that means that the big strong athletic drummers have put down their drumsticks and will be working on something else, that either only they can do, or for which the village needs all their able-bodied warriors for. And that could involve picking up their spears and tomahawks and going on the warpath to clear the neighborhood of interloping explorers....

You buy a Dr. Rhythm and count your blessings that we live in such a beautiful age that drummers with off switches are available.

oh yeah baby. oh yeah.

Bristol Drum Jam (and a popular flavor it was too!)

[identity profile] sciffy-circo.livejournal.com 2007-08-28 12:32 am (UTC)(link)
Some people run to the front gate, and sing "The Mermaid", followed by "Farewell to Bristol". Some people run to the candy shop, to grab more free samples of English Toffee. Some people hang around at the drum jam (see picture) till security kicks them out.

The rest of my Bristol Renaissance Faire pics are around there, but I posted with a commentary about a week ago.
