I liked it the first time I saw it, but I am also a big JJL fan. I thought that it kinda skimmed things, but that is generally necessary in a bio like this.
But it didn't follow the outline for modern biopics...
-Star as a child sees/causes/thinks he/she causes the death or a sibling. -Star grows up and gets first taste of fame. -Star tries drugs/sex and becomes an addict. -Star gets married and has affairs/children out of wedlock. -Star gets over addiction/receive's spouses forgiveness. -Star lives happily ever after/dies as a cultural and national icon.
