I would like to add ...

I am going to OVFF ... it's official ... booked a room and everything.

I had a blast two years ago, and was very sad that I couldn't make it last year ... or is it the last two years ... I'm too lazy to go look it up.

Anyway, I booked rooms at most of the cons I am going to. I do see that I have nothing going on in September or December. Anyone have any good ideas of places I could go in those months ???

December is always a down month, as it is generally too cold to travel around the midwest. That is why you need to start a new convention, somewhere else, somewhere warm. I hereby nominate you as the head of concom for the brand new FilkFiji!

Think about it, you wouldn't even need a hotel, just bring a beach chair.

There's ValleyCon in Fargo in September. I have never been succesful in locating December cons, which is why I usually draw caricatures that month.

I could think of someplace. It's not a con, but... *puppydogeyes*

And no, all the other time we're going to spend with you doesn't count. It won't be enough. So there.

Dragon*Con, Labor Day weekend.

There's enough music and filk to keep people happy. In fact, concerts is pretty much all I did last year, despite the huge media presence for the rest of the con.

But it's a huge con and can be intimidating. 'Laid-back' and 'Dragon*Con' are often mutually exclusive. But it's still a good con.
