I had never seen it till half an hour ago, but it is one of those tracks that I love playing for self-satisfied guitarists

That is one of my all time favorite acoustic guitar recordings... along with these two from the same concert:

Looking back at them again, now- wow did these three tracks have a huuuge influence on my playing style.

Oh, and one other thing...

One of the reason's I *love* this version of 'Won't Get Fooled Again' is that Pete forgets the words and repeats part of a verse.

When I first heard these tracks in the 80's, seeing one of your gods as fallible was an INCREDIBLE motivator for all things being possible.

The influence on my is less noticable now, there was a time when you could hear Townsend all over my style.

I love both of these ... but Drowned ... wow

These are from the second night of shows, the first night ran late, so someone had the bright idea of giving Pete some brandy ... his show the first night was ... well ... not one of his best

Every time I hear him do this song acoustic, I just listen in awe. Then I swear I will practice more ... then I want to give up entirely. Then I think at my age, giving up is more practical. I wish I was this worried about sounding good about 30+ years ago ...
