The great battle is over

The board of directors gave in. The homeowner says that "the board of directors of the Loma Linda Homeowners Association had apologized, called the incident a misunderstanding and had withdrawn its request for the wreath's removal."

Yes indeed, they misunderstood how much people would make fun of them nationwide.

Bob still deserves the Foreman Award.

I lived in a condo complex for a while that had its own set of rules. When we wanted to put a screened door on our front door we were told specifically what make, model, and color we had to buy. We thought that was rediculous, but we wanted the screened door.

So when we moved out of there and started looking for a house to buy the real estate agent asked us if we wanted a HOA or not. My wife and I simultaneously shouted "NO!" She was startled, chuckled, and crossed two of the homes off the list of homes she was going to show us. :)
