I dunno, I can totally picture Bush reading The Stranger. After all, it's about a guy who kills an Arab and feels no guilt whatsoever about it.

maybe he misunderstood and listed all the books he's read In His Lifetime, which would account for the presence of "The Stranger" "Macbeth" and "Hamlet", which are all likely high school required readings.

Or...maybe he's just reading the Cliff's notes?? Or counting books on tape?
