RIP Buddy Blue
I suppose that when Country Dick died, it was a shock, but not unexpected. Buddy though ...
His weekly Blue Journalism email was always a delight. We exchanged emails occasionally as one raving music fan to another. We disagreed sometimes, but it was always fun.
The Farmers (The original Beat Farmers w/o Country Dick) disc that came out last year was great. Buddy's solo stuff was amazing. He was a powerful musician, a blast as a music critic and just a very cool guy.

Buddy was not in the band in 95. He left about a decade before.
The line up you saw was Dick, Jerry Laney, Rolle Love and Joey Harris.
