He was trying to give me a familiar style rather than the actual voice talent ... who I haven't heard (I have seen him in a few things, but it's been 30 years)

It's a pretty simple midlands accent ...

No, I got that, but I thought perhaps you'd seen the actor more recently. I don't know all (or any, really) of your video habits.

Looking at his resume I think the last thing I would have seen him in is Taste the Blood of Dracula ... so 36 years.
