I don't get it ...

So ... I went to my favorite local mexican place ... and got a burrito ... they put on rubber gloves to make it ...

IF they don't want to touch their food ... why should I want to eat it ???

Isn't that more or less standard now, covering the hands for assembly rather than just washing them? Plastic and vinyl ones derive from petroleum products, but the latex ones can cause allergic reactions. Maybe the moral of the story is to buy food only assembled in large, sterile factory. (See, now I knew there was a reason to eat Cheez-Its.)

i sincerely hope you're being silly.

If you're not, i could give you a list of reasons you really, REALLY want them to be wearing a fresh, new pair of disposable gloves each and every time they touch your food. (ESPECIALLY if they are also handling money.)

Optimally, they're washing their hands before donning those gloves.
