Soldiers In A Field
Back in the dim dark ages that were the 80s I was in a synth band called Soldiers In A Field.
I have been working on burning a bunch of the tapes we made to CD.
It's been interesting listening to these after so many years, some of it holds up very well, some of it wasn't all that good to begin with.
I should have some tracks up on Audiostreet.net by the weekend if all goes well.
The other member of the band is interested in re-exploring some of the music, mostly to see if we can get it recorded in the way we would have liked to back then. It might happen.
Kinda fun, in an old fashioned way.

Old bands
A friend sent a couple of pictures of my synth band.
In it there is a bass player (a friend who I am still in contact with), and the other guy in the band is playing guitar.
I do not remember this happening ... I remember that show as being a typical show with no guitars and this friend doing some oddball stuff with pieces of metal and lights (which was not a typical part of our show). But I don't remember guitars. Part of the reason the band split was my not wanting any other instruments other than synth.
