2BC - A quick overview
It's been weird so far. Things have gone well and not so well.
My show was at 2. I stood there till 2:10 with no one there to hear. A couple folks showed up, I waited another 5 minutes or so and ended up with about 8 people.

So two newer songs in the set. A really fun energetic show. All in all worth it but shorter than I wanted it to be.
Being the silly person I am, I took it to make sure that there was sound for the masquerade. The guy with the PA had to be home tonight. The concom had not taken that into account. So with the help of the mighty Shoebox we put together enough stuff to plug into the hotel sound system. It sounded ok, certainly not up to my standards but it did the job.
I did manage to annoy a GOH. Sometimes life is good. If I ever wonder why I quit doing theatre, all I have to do is remember the conversation I had with her. Actresses, ack ...

I will be playing a show at 2pm at To Be CONtinued in Rosemont on April 10th.
I'll be a judge at the Masquerade entertainment. Yup, they are doing a Gong Show. It was a hard choice between being an acerbic judge or an acerbic contestant.
As seems to be the usual, The Great Lukeski is the musical guest of honor (I swear he is everywhere I am going this year). Shoebox from Worm Quartet will be ranting and raving in that glorious way he does. Devo Spice from Sudden Death will be in the house. Yup, it's gonna get ugly folks.
I just hope that I don't have to follow WQ again.
