Time to reassess. The PICATT were extremely hostile to the furries, and made life as difficult as possible for the people trying to run the furry track. It's true that the community had reached a point where it could support an independent convention, and MFF probably would have gotten off the ground in another year or so, but it started when it did because of the hostility toward them at Duck.
