I was in downtown Des Moines Sunday for an event with WSPA-3. I parked in a nearby parking garage. The day went well, about as expected, but it was when I was heading back to my car that, well, a scary thing happened.

I was parked one level up from the skywalk and it was when I got to the stairs leading up that it happened ...

I ran up a flight of stairs. I know, it's a scary concept. I got to the top and I was terrified. What had I done? Was I OK? Was there going to be permanent damage the structure (or me)?

I realized that I wasn't even out of breath, that my legs were OK. That indeed the work I have been putting in was doing some good.

I'm wondering who is going to skip this due to the cut ... yeah, I'm a brat.
