So ... I'm looking for ideas

Radio Capricon is slowly getting off the ground for this year. So I am looking for ideas.

If anyone has an idea for a show, let me know. If anyone wants to record a show for the station, let me know. If anyone wants to be on the air at the Con, let me know. I can always use help. The station runs in hour increments.

But mostly I am looking for your opinion. What do you think is the greatest science fiction song of all time, and what do you think is the greatest fantasy song of all time? Inquiring minds want to know. They can be filk songs, they can be from other sources. But I want to know what you think.

Greatest? I expect to change my mind six times between now and when I click "Post". But here are a couple of favorites from my pre-filk days:
SF: Ziggy Stardust -- David Bowie
Fantasy: Listen, Learn, Read On -- Deep Purple

(Close runners-up from T-Rex, Moody Blues, Uriah Heep, Queen....)

I don't think that Ziggy is an SF song ... it's just a song about a rock band (albeit a great song about a rock band) ... Five Years though ...

I don't know that Deep Purple song ... but looking at the lyrics it seems pretty cool

I took it as implicit, but perhaps not.... OK, I'll switch to his "Diamond Dogs". :)

The album has SF tendencies ... and a couple of songs that are pretty specifically SF (Starman for instance), but Ziggy really isn't an SF song (go read through the lyrics). I would argue against Diamond Dogs too, but not as fervently. Mostly it's how you would interpret the words. Ziggy though, nothing to do with SF at all really.
