If by "ska" you mean the real Jamaican 1960-66-ish ska, not the hyperfast 90s ska...begat by bluebeat and begatting reggae...horns on the offbeats, etc...

It was the Two-Tone era that got me into it though (I would imagine it was the same with you)
I'd highly recommend the Moon Records Skarmageddon series for really good ska, with a lot of it very true to the early sounds, with some modern ska-core thrown in (which I also love)
