We used to do a craft show in Forsyth, which used to be the unnoticed "sister city" to Branson. Not so much anymore, I guess.

If you can get past the festering muckhole that is Branson, MO, the area has great rewards. One of the finest places I've ever been (in a magical, touristy sort of way) is Eureka Springs. I used to go to the annual UFO Conference there (not the scary weird people kind, a really scholarly group with some fascinating information). Brunch at the Crescent Hotel on Sunday is OMG to die for.

Anyway, I love southern Missouri with a deep deep passion, too bad some of it is so scary.
