I wouldn't, I leave that to the professionals. They dip it in batter. A LOT of batter. Quite tasty batter actually, you really don't need the twinkie at all. It ends up being about 2-3 times the size of the original twinkie.

Because it is a State Fair. You try to deep fry everything. I mean everything, from macaroni and cheese to Ho-Hos.

It was sort of a dare I suppose. The lady I was with likes them (once a year) and I felt that I needed to step up to the challenge. And no, I had no fear that there might be something healthy, it is still just a twinkie after all. One wonders though if the shelf life is altered by deep frying.

There are so many alien life forms at a State Fair, that it really doesn't matter after awhile.

I feel like my shelf life is longer actually.
