Congrats! Be sure to take a look at Deskop Manager. Even with a big screen it's a productivity booster.

In theory, I can connect my G5 to my HDTV, and use it as a second monitor. It didn't work right away, so I haven't tried again. The dual monitors are nifty, though I really only use one. I have my old 20" CRT monitor hooked up now, but haven't used it. I should hope a print shop has two monitors for you: It's really handy for print jobs. If not, talk them into it.
