And I have a show in Ames tonight ... well, I MAY have a show in Ames tonight. If it's decided to cancel, I'll let the hordes of out of town people who were going to show up know as early as I can.

I did a lot of serious songs and the audience seemed to like that a lot. I played VERY well, actually felt like a musician for the first time in awhile. It felt good to play the Tak, I have been ignoring him lately.

There was a woman who was sitting right down front who scowled through most of my set, and very steadfastly did NOT look at me. Since her companions seemed to like the set very much I take that as meaning that I did my job well tonight. I want strong reactions, the folk sitting there ran the gamut
