The Radio Capricon Update

Ok, it seems that all systems are go, providing that no one threw away the antenna during the conventions storage summer cleaning. The con chair is pretty certain that this didn't happen, so I am hopeful.

I do have a new toy. For my birthday that lovely woman who puts up with me bought me a new printer. It prints directly to CD. The discs this year look REALLY cool, even if I wasn't able to program everything I wanted to this year due to my misplacing my master discs for all my OTR mp3s. We did a major house cleaning and rehab this summer and somewhere along the line the sleeve these were all in got put in a box. I have still managed to put together a great weekend of stuff, but some of the on-topic shows I wanted to play are missing. If anyone has the means to dl the old Suspense version of Donovan's Brain with Orson Welles, I'd give you a winky button (especially if you can get it to me tonight or tomorrow).

I'm playing two shows in the Internet Cafe, one thursday at 8 and one friday at 7, but if the radio station does go belly up I am going to try to go for the original plan of a show in the filk room at 9:30 friday. We'll see.

Anyway, if the station is alive I will spend much of my time in room 222, just me and Karen Valentine and we all know that she is as dull as they get so come up and hang out. I'll have some games and a guitar and ... well ... me ...

seeya this weekend.

So I've gotten a copy of the Riverfolk at ConFusion CD from Chas and we both think it would be just ducky if you were to play a song or two of ours on RadioCapricon. The only catch is that the entire hour of music is one track not several. Do you have any suggestions on how I could possibly do track markings so that I can send you a couple of songs and not the whole disc?
