I need pet peeves

Ok. I'm asking everyone here.

I'm working on a new song ... it's about those people ... you know ... the ones who piss you off everyday just by being jerks.

I need examples ... something to fuel my brain here.

I'm not talking about something personal, the way someone laughs. I'm talking (since it's the 1st verse of the song) that gerbil who is driving 45 MPH in the far left lane during rush hour chattering on their cel phone ... things like that ...

people that constantly say to their kid 'Stop that or we are leaving' when they know that they are not going anywhere, as does the kid who continues to beat the crap out of his sister or (TRUE) run around in a china shop with his hands out while singing some kid song. The 'If you stop that I will buy you something nice'people come in second because these people are bribing their kids to stop thus making the behavior acceptable. Gah.

Parents that let their kid cry at the top of their lungs in a store and do not do anything about it (if my kid is screaming I first assess the situation and try to calm him (he is 3 months old, when he cries it is either for food, a change, or a burp), and if this doesn't work I will take him to the car, or to another room, etc. so as not to ruin somebody else's day.

Also hate people that chew tobacco, and then spit it in strange places, like this one kid I used to know in high school was chewing tobacco on the bus on the way home from school, and he took the clear cellophane wrapper off of his cigarettes to spit into, so that you could see all of the chaw-ey goodness. YUK. (in hindsight, I really believe that this kid was on the fast track to cancer, considering he smoked and chewed tobacco - his thought for chewing was because there were no rules against it in school, and they were sticklers for smoking, I dunno where the hell he was lighting up that they caught him, I never got caught and was constantly smoking)

Inconsiderate smokers - bu this I mean the smokers that are rude and blow smoke in people's faces just for the hell of it, without provocation, who smoke in the foyers of shopping malls, in bathrooms, in subway cars, in NY there is no smoking anywhere unless it is outside, unless you are home or in your car. Also they do not care about the mess they make, littering the ground with butts when there is a canister handy, GRRR. When I smoked I did not do these things out of respect for others, and I think that others should be taken into consideration.

People that throw used gum on the ground - even in winter - cuz when it warms up it sticks to your shoes, and EW.
